No, we don't charge any transaction fees what so ever. The only additonal fees you may need to pay will be associated with your payment providor, such as PayPal.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we offer a full 15-day free trial with no limits, during which time you can test Instantcart to the max. There is no contract and no credit card required to get started!
Do I get email accounts with my store?
All Instantcart versions offer unlimited email accounts as standard. You can setup mailboxes very quickly directly from your Instantcart account.
Is my data safe and secure?
We protect your site at our hosting facility in Leeds UK with an average 99.99% average uptime. Your data is backed up every 24 hours, and we only run our services on highly redundant server architecture.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, you can either purchase a domain name through us, or alternatively use any major domain registrar. We will then help you get it pointing to your Instantcart webstore.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No never, Instantcart is contract free, meaning you can cancel at any time - with no notice period. The only thing is we don't offer any refunds, so if you do cancel a few days into a new month, you may loose the value of the remainder of that month.
I'm looking to switch shopping carts, can I import my products?
Yes you sure can! Instantcart allows you to import products via a CSV file directly into your store. We also know it can be a bit of a headache getting imports to work, so our ecommerce specialists will help you get your data setup free of charge.
Can I use a subdomain for my store?
Just like a domain name, you can choose to setup a subdomain, such as shop.mydomain.co.uk.
Can I purchase my own SSL certificate?
Yes, certainly, you can purchase one from us, or a third party. SSL certificates can be setup by our e-commerce specialists, however you will soon be able to set them up yourself from the Instantcart control panel.
What about PCI Compliance?
Instantcart is currently registered as "out of scope" for PCI compliance as we only use third party PCI Compliant payment providers such as Paypal, Amazon and Sagepay to look after payment security for us. We do offer PCI scanning services to Enterprise clients if required.
Do I need my own SSL certificate?
No you don't, we provide all accounts with shared SSL certificates, however if you do want to purchase one, its very simple to do so.
Can I upgrade at any time?
Upgrading or downgrading is quick and easy with Instantcart, and you can do it at any time. We will automatically work out the difference in your tariff for the current billing period to give you an accurate bill.
If I signup for a paid plan, when does my card get charged?
We charge the amount you select above to your chosen credit or debit card on a monthly basis, usually on the 10th or 20th day of each month - remember you can cancel at anytime!
How do I cancel my account?
If you're running a trial account, you don't need to do anything to cancel, however if you wish to cancel your paid account, just get in touch and we'll close the site at a time thats convenient for you.
Do I need my own merchant account?
No you don't, you can use payment providers such as Paypal and Amazon to get started very quickly. If you do have a merchant account, you can use Sagepay to accept major credit and debit cards. We will also help you get setup.
I already use a Payment Gateway, does Instantcart support it?
Theres a chance we will already support your payment gateway, but if we don't our ecommerce team will most likely integrate it for you at no extra cost!
