Instantcart is a small team of talented designers, engineers, and operations staff. We build products and services that help people all around the world trade online. We're based in the UK.
It all started back in 2001 when Paul Roberts decided to setup his own online shop selling high performance computer cooling products. Back then there was only a handful of ecommerce software solutions to choose from, and although limited, got the job done.
In 2006, Paul sold his ecommerce business to focus on new opportunities, and one ambition was to always create his own ecommerce solution from the ground up, so in November 2006 he began building the basics of what has evolved into Instantcart today.
Initially once the first version was ready, it was only used for a select number of projects, including powering a well know online computer retailer that generated millions in revenue per annum. This success lead us to take Instantcart one step further and productise it into the cloud offering we have today.
Instantcart is based in Leeds in the UK.
